Flaherty back at practice for Minnesota Duluth

Minnesota Duluth senior winger Keegan Flaherty was back at practice Tuesday and may be available to play Friday and Saturday at home against Nebraska-Omaha on Senior Weekend. Flaherty suffered a leg injury last Friday after colliding with an Alabama-Huntsville player at Amsoil Arena and sat out Saturday.

Nebraska-Omaha junior forward Ryan Walters of Rosemount, Minn., has a three-point lead in the WCHA scoring race entering the final regular-season series versus UMD. He was a St. Thomas Academy teammate of UMD junior goalie Aaron Crandall. U.S. College Hockey Online has a Walters feature here.

Playoff Status.com provides the probabilities of who may finish where in the WCHA. Stats show that it is 86 percent likely UMD will stay where it is, in ninth place. First-place St. Cloud State is projected to have a 53 percent chance of winning its first MacNaughton Cup. The stats are right here.
