UMD headed to Minneapolis for first time since Metrodome deflated

Minnesota Duluth is headed to Minneapolis on Thursday for a series at Minnesota for the first time since the Metrodome deflated. That was the weekend of Dec. 10-12, 2010. The Saturday game at Mariucci Arena was postponed to Sunday because of a snow storm which pretty much kept the Bulldogs inside their downtown hotel.

With center Caleb Herbert back at practice this week this is how UMD’s lines looked: Justin Crandall-Herbert-Mike Seidel; Cody Danberg-Jake Hendrickson-Keegan Flaherty; Austin Farley-Tony Cameranesi-Joe Basaraba; and Dan DeLisle-Cal Decowski-Adam Krause.

Defensive pairings are Drew Olson-Andy Welinski; Tim Smith-Chris Casto; and Derik Johnson-Wade Bergman. Goalies on the trip are Matt McNeely and Alex Fons.
