USA U18s at Michigan State on Tuesday, UMD on Saturday, UWS on Sunday

The USA Hockey National Team Development Program U18 team from Ann Arbor, Mich., which plays in the U.S. Hockey League, also has an ambitious college schedule.

The U18s, coached by Don Granato, are 8-5-4 against colleges this season (4-6-1 vs. Division I) and are at Michigan State on Tuesday in East Lansing, Mich. This weekend they meet Minnesota Duluth at 2:07 p.m. Saturday at Amsoil Arena and play Wisconsin-Superior at 5 p.m. Sunday at Wessman Arena. The exhibition games don’t count in the record of the college teams.

Among the U18 wins was 5-3 at Michigan on Jan. 4. And there was a 1-1 tie at Notre Dame on Oct. 7 and a 2-2 tie at Minnesota on Oct. 26. The U18s are 21-8-4 overall.
