U.S. tops Canada 5-1, reaches World Juniors title game

The United States stopped Canada 5-1 Thursday in the World Junior Championships semifinals in Ufa, Russia. The Americans face Sweden in Saturday’s 7 a.m. final on the NHL Network. Sweden advanced with a shootout win over Russia.
