Anchorage video; Mankato in poll; Osterberg honor; Bemidji State hockey in-depth; Harvard loses 4 players; first Bracketology

Mankato earned a sweep and has won six straight games. Brian Halverson of Minnesota Hockey Magazine notes that Mankato has earned a spot in the U.S. College Hockey Top 20 for the first time in four years in a story here.

Omaha Lancers forward Kyle Osterberg of Lakeville, Minn., a Minnesota Duluth recruit for 2013-14, was named U.S. Hockey League forward of the week. A league release is here.

Fund raising has become a critical element to keep Bemidji State sports functioning, especially in light of declining attendance for the men’s hockey team, and the school has terminated athletic director Rick Goeb as of the end of 2012-13.
