Game Day: Bemidji State at Minnesota Duluth

Minnesota Duluth’s final home series of 2012 gets underway at 7:07 p.m. Friday as Bemidji State travels a couple of hours down Hwy. 2 in northeastern Minnesota. (94.1 FM and My9, and News Tribune live blogging right here.)

UMD is 4-7-3 and Bemidji State 3-7-2.

Boston University claimed a second victory over a No. 1-ranked team in seven days Thursday, beating New Hampshire 3-2 on the road. From U.S. College Hockey Online here and the Boston Globe here.

On Saturday and Sunday at Amsoil Arena, at 3:07 p.m., the UMD women face No. 7-ranked Boston University in a nonconference clash. It is the first meeting between the programs. U.S. College Hockey Online has Division I women’s picks here.
