UWS teams up in USCHO polls; UMD remains unranked

The Wisconsin-Superior men’s and women’s teams moved up in U.S. College Hockey Online Division III polls released Monday.

The UWS men (6-2) are up one spot to No. 13 following a split with Wisconsin-Stout, losing 4-1 and winning 6-4. The Yellowjackets are home Wednesday at 5 p.m. against Concordia-Moorhead.

The UWS women (6-3) moved up two positions to No. 6 after a home sweep of Concordia (Wis.) 4-0 and 5-0. The Yellowjackets resume play Dec. 4 at the University of St. Catherine in St. Paul and are not home again until Jan. 19 against St. Scholastica.

The UMD men and women remain unranked in the U.S. College Hockey Online Division I polls. The UMD men (2-6-2) are home Friday and Saturday against No. 12 St. Cloud State (6-4) at Amsoil Arena. The UMD women (5-6-1) play at No. 10 North Dakota (7-5) on Friday and Saturday.
