The Bulldogs (2-5-1) fell from No. 20 after losing twice at Nebraska-Omaha 3-2 and 6-3 Saturday and Sunday. UMD, playing at No. 6 North Dakota (4-3-1) this weekend, had been in every U.S. College Hockey Online Top 20 poll since Nov. 2, 2009.
Six Western Collegiate Hockey Association teams are ranked — No. 2 Denver, No. 3 Minnesota, No. 6 North Dakota, No. 14 Colorado College, No. 15 St. Cloud State and No. 18 Nebraska-Omaha. Defending NCAA champion Boston College (8-1) is the unanimous No. 1 pick.
In the U.S. College Hockey Online Division III polls, the Wisconsin-Superior men (5-1) debuted at No. 14 and play at Wisconsin-Stout (2-2-2) this weekend.
The UWS women (4-3) moved up one spot to No. 8 and are home Friday and Saturday against Concordia, Wis. (0-5-1).
