Minnesota Duluth (2-3-1) resumes its schedule this weekend with Saturday (7:07 p.m.) and Sunday (2:07 p.m.) games at Nebraska-Omaha (4-3-1). The Bulldogs are busing the 520 miles starting Thursday after practice, staying overnight in Mason City, Iowa (home of composer Meredith Willson) and finishing the eight-hour drive Friday morning.
It is Homecoming weekend at Nebraska-Omaha. The series is Saturday-Sunday to allow No. 16 Creighton University to open the men’s basketball season Friday night against North Texas as CenturyLink Center in Omaha.
