Quick turnaround for Bulldogs, on a plane Wednesday to South Bend

Minnesota Duluth has a quick turnaround on the way to its first road series of 2012-13, getting on a plane Wednesday to head to South Bend, Ind. The No. 13 Bulldogs face No. 9 Notre Dame at 6:35 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Compton Family Ice Arena, which is just one year old. UMD is busing home after the Thursday game.

UMD coach Scott Sandelin said Monday he’ll likely stay with the same lineup as last week versus Ohio State (other than one or two possible tweaks). Junior Aaron Crandall is expected to continue in goal.

Notre Dame (2-0) is home after two one-goal wins last week in winning the (the lightly attended) Icebreaker Tournament in Kansas City, Mo.
