Senior goalie Zuzana Tomcikova of Slovakia moved to No. 4 in career saves in Division I on Saturday afternoon, backing Bemidji State’s 2-0 victory over No. 9-ranked Minnesota Duluth in a Western Collegiate Hockey Association women’s game before 509 fans at Sanford Center in Bemidji, Minn.

Tomcikova, a Slovakian national team member, made 20 saves and has 898 this season and 3,410 in four seasons. She has four shutouts this season and 18 for her career. This season she has a .931 save percentage and 2.32 goals against average.
Bemidji State junior forward Emily Erickson of Coleraine scored her team-leading 15th goal for the season midway through the second period and Tess Dusik added an insurance goal with 6:36 left in the game.
Bemidji State (15-15-3 and 9-15-2 in the WCHA), which lost 1-0 Friday, led in shots on goal 32-20. UMD (16-13-1 and 13-12-1) was shut out for the fourth time this season.
UMD senior goalie Jennifer Harss had 30 saves in the loss. She has a .919 save percentage and 2.33 goals-against average this season.
