Five UMD football home games to be televised in 2011

Minnesota Duluth’s defending Division II football team will have five home games televised by Northland’s NewsCenter in 2011.

The Northland’s NewsCenter will once again be broadcasting University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldog football games. The TV broadcast schedule includes five regular season home games and any playoff games if available. The broadcasts will be produced by iFan Sports Network in collaboration with the Northland’s NewsCenter and aired on My 9 (KBJR-DT 6.2/KRII-DT 11.9). Tom Hansen, Northland’s NewsCenter sports director, will provide play-by-play.

Saturday, Sept. 10           1 p.m.         vs. Upper Iowa

Saturday, Oct. 1               6 p.m.        vs. Minnesota State-Moorhead

Saturday, Oct. 22            1 p.m.         vs. Northern State (Homecoming)

Saturday, Nov. 5              1 p.m.          vs. Minnesota-Crookston

Saturday, Nov. 12            1 p.m.          vs. Minnesota State-Mankato
