Favorite WCHA referee?

If you’re interested in who’s refereeing in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association in 2010-11, the blog Goon’s World has an updated list with jersey numbers. Duluth’s Brett Klosowski is wearing No. 31 and former Minnesota Duluth forward Bill Mason of International Falls has No. 22. The list is here.

Goon’s World points out that Scott Zelkin isn’t listed among the WCHA refs.

Also it has been noted by Eric Stromgren at the Bemidji Pioneer that Bemidji State has struck a deal to have all home games this season on Public Television on a statewide basis, which includes WDSE 8.4 in Duluth-Superior. That means UMD’s second WCHA series of the season, Oct. 29-30 at Bemidji, will be on what is called the PBS Minnesota Channel. The story in the Pioneer is here.

  1. Hey Kevin thanks for the link up, I appreciate it. I find that you have one of the better beat writer blogs that doesn’t cover my favorite team. UMD should be pretty good this season if they can get some goaltending.
