The University of Wisconsin, which has already lost four underclassmen to professional hockey, gained a recruit this week in Bloomington Jefferson defenseman Joe Faust. He had received a scholarship offer from the Badgers, chose a scholarship from Princeton, re-opened his recruiting and this week decided on Wisconsin and not a year in the U.S. Hockey League with Des Moines. He was a 2010 NHL Entry Draft pick of New Jersey in the fourth round.
