Planning ahead for the 2011 Frozen Four? It’s just 150 miles from Duluth at St. Paul’s Xcel Energy Center. Here’s information on getting tickets:
The NCAA is now accepting ticket applications for the 2011 NCAA Men’s Frozen Four, which will be held at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul April 7 and 9, 2011.
The ticket application for the 2011 NCAA Men’s Frozen Four can be found on the NCAA Men’s Ice Hockey web page at www.ncaa.com/frozenfour. All applications must be submitted electronically by 10:59 p.m. Central time on June 1, 2010.
The NCAA will once again use a ticket application and allocation process, which rewards previous ticket purchasers, that was implemented for the 2002 NCAA Men’s Frozen Four in Saint Paul.
From the allotment of tickets available to the general public, approximately half of the tickets will be held for priority ticket applicants (those who have previously purchased tickets, beginning with the 1997 Men’s Frozen Four in Milwaukee). The remaining tickets will be available, through a random selection process, to those applying for the first time.
There is a limit of four tickets per household as ticket quantities are limited and subject to availability.
All-Session tickets are priced at $195 and provide admission to all three games. Online applications require payment via credit card, which will be processed and posted on the next business day from submission of application.
Tickets will be allocated in July 2010 and applicants will be notified of their application status in August 2010. Tickets will be mailed in March 2011.
Applicants not selected for tickets will receive a full refund of payment submitted with application. All refunds will be made electronically.
