This information from the Minnesota Duluth Web site on student season men’s hockey tickets going on sale Tuesday:
Student season tickets for 2009-10 Minnesota Duluth men’s hockey go on sale Tuesday (Sept. 22) at 4 p.m. at the UMD Athletic Ticket Office.
The cost for the 18-game package (the Bulldogs’ series with Colorado College on Jan. 8-9 is not included due to semester break) is $108 and must be paid in full at the time of the sale. A valid U-card is also required. Mix 108 will do a live radio remote from the Sports and Health Center lobby from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and student can register for a motoFINO scooter will held at that time.
To accompany the growing demand for student tickets, a fourth general admission student section has been added in the upper balcony of the DECC. Two free round-trip student fan buses will run from campus to the DECC. Students are encouraged to purchase season tickets because the number may be limited if there’s an increased request for public season tickets.
The defending WCHA playoff champion Bulldogs will make their 2009-10 debut with an Oct. 3 exhibition game against the University of British Columbia before hosting Lake Superior State University in its regular season opener Oct. 9.
