Jeanne Fleck of Proctor was the top 40-and-older woman finisher in Sunday’s 24th Heart of the Lakes Triathlon in Annandale, Minn.

Professional David Thompson, 31, of St. Paul was first overall in a field of 467 in a course-record 1 hour, 25 minutes, 26 seconds for a ½-mile swim, 21-mile bike and 5.3-mile run. Cathy Yndestad, 30, of Apple Valley, Minn., was the top woman in 1:39:16, while Fleck, 44, was third overall in 1:42:53.
